The Civic Orchestra of New Haven brings together more than 60 professional and accomplished amateur musicians with a shared commitment to orchestral music and ensemble playing.

Interested in playing with CONH? We welcome inquiries from musicians across all orchestral sections. Opportunities vary throughout the season, and instrumentalists interested in joining the orchestra are encouraged to get in touch.

Rehearsals are held on Monday nights 7pm - 9:30pm from September through early May.  Auditions are typically held directly before rehearsal, and every auditioning musician is welcome to stay and play with us for the evening. Repertoire for auditions varies and will be discussed in advance with the music director.
